MR. YU CHI WAN, YUSUF（羽智雲）

Representative and Director of IIIT for Hong Kong

Yusuf Yu obtained his B.Sc. in Mathematics (1974) from Hong Kong University and M.A. in Education (1989) from Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was the Principal of Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College of Hong Kong and former World Assembly of the Muslim Youth (WAMY), Director (Far East).

  • 1973 – 1991 : President / Exco Member of Hong Kong Islamic Youth Association (HKIYA)
  • 1988 – 1993 : Director for Far East Sub-region, World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), based in Saudi Arabia.
  • 1975 – 77, 1992- 2000 : Exco Member of Islamic Union of Hong Kong (IUHK)
  • 1992 – 2005 : Hon. Advisor of Hong Kong Islamic Youth Association (HKIYA)
  • 1994 – 2009 : Hon. Secretary / Member of Education Sub-committee, Islamic Union of Hong Kong
  • 1986 to present : Founding Member of International Islamic Charitable Organization (IICO), based in Kuwait.
